Background

     Jan L. Summerville founded Clear Perspectives in 1996. She brings to her business a unique combination of public and private sector experiences. For more than  twenty years, Ms. Summerville has worked in the employment and training field. She has been in charge of placing JTPA clients with multiple barriers into long-term careers.  Ms. Summerville has also been in charge of employeee training and development for Aaron Enterprises, a firm which owned retirement communities, nursing homes and assisted living facilities across the southeast. 

     Through her experiences in these fields, Ms. Summerville realized that many assessment tools were inadequate. They did not provide the information that individuals, programs and businesses needed to make good career and personnel decisions. 

     Profiles International™ products have supplied the missing key. Since 1996, Ms. Summerville has provided these products, as well as a variety of training and consulting services, to both public and private sector organizations.
